The first impression of the Epson SX200 is that it’s a very compact machine for such a something that promises to perform such as large number of tasks. It claims to be able to print photo quality prints as well as scan documents in high resolution and photo copy without the need to be connected to a PC. Photo printing can also be preformed without the need for a PC also by printing directly from your camera (PictBridge enabled) or your memory card. The scanner facility will scan pretty much anything from books, magazines and photos in black and white or colour and also comes with OCR software which enables you to scan text documents and then edit the text afterwards. The photo copier will also copy documents in both black and colour but is limited to a maximum of nine copies at a time so no best suited for heavy work loads. Epson SX200 ink cartridges come in the form of four individual Epson ink cartridges and cost around £30 for the full set. However, compatible Epson SX200 printer ink cartridges can be found for around half this price. The Epson Stylus SX200 is an excellent all-in-one printer and manages to perform a wide variety of tasks to a very high standard without needing to be a large machine that takes up half the room. The SX200 is perfect addition to any office or home.
